Northern Counties Annual

NCPF 2012 Myles Audas Trophy smallerPenrith Camera Club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).  The PAGB is made up of 15 regional Federations across the country, and each of these Federations are in turn made up of their local Camera Clubs.

Penrith is part of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation (NCPF), which is home to 52 Camera Clubs across the north of England.  Each year, usually in April, the NCPF holds a competition which is open to individual Camera Club members.  Members must enter through their External Competition Secretary who will arrange for prints and PDIs to be sent to the NCPF and returned following judging.

There are three sections:

  • Colour prints
  • Mono prints
  • PDIs

In addition, there are two classes: Open & Beginners.  A beginner is classed as a Camera Club member who has not won any kind of award in any previous NCPF annual competition or has not been awarded a photographic distinction.

Members may submit up to 3 images in each section of the Open class.  Beginners may submit up to 2 images in each section of the Beginner’s Class.

Images from this competition may be chosen to represent the Northern Counties at national PAGB competitions.  More information about the NCPF Annual can be found on the NCPF website.
